I've never wheelied a passenger and actually balanced it, just small power wheelies. On my R6, I do them in 2nd gear by just rolling the throttle on hard at about 8k RPM.

I clutch it very carefully. I don't really like doing them, it's just a few girls I know always want me to. I hate being responsible for someone else, so I usually won't bring the front up too high.

I can't give you any pointers. The last time I wheelied with a passenger, my wife punched me in the ribs.

I've wheelied my bike a few times with my buddy on the back... On my 600, it makes a HUGE difference. That extra 150 lbs of my friend on the back end makes the front pretty light. I'm able to power it up in 2nd, which I'm not usually able to do. Be careful though - it comes up even faster with somebody on the back.
