So in this pic you can see a bracket type thing that holds the radiator in place (A), my bike doesn't have this anymore lol know how to get this mounted without one, or where to find one. thanks.

Re: 03-04 636 radiator mounting

if your talking about the bottom bracket [a] then just make one but if your talking about the top bracket also [a] then that takes a little work and are you running side fairings ?

Re: 03-04 636 radiator mounting

just the bottom, no fairings. I will have to see what I can come up with, my radiator started spewing brown liquid is corrosion/rust from the radiator. time to swap it out I think, unless I can repair where it's leaking from. something way outside of my skill as a mechanic eh

the bottom of the radiator is designed to bolt to the fairing so if your not running fairing the best thing to do would be to make a bracket that bolts to the bottom of the radiator where the fairing usually bolt to it and fixing an aluminum radiator can be tricky specially if the top of the radiator is being ripped off ..i am assuming thats where the leak is coming from ?

Re: 03-04 636 radiator mounting

my other thought was that since the radiator fluid is brown, maybe it's dilluted too much and not cooling thus getting more pressurized?? and spewing out of the top part of the radiator. Thinking if maybe I flush it and do all clean fluid that might stop it from spewing all over the place, its only when I ride for periods of time.

Re: 03-04 636 radiator mounting

part [e] doesn't do much with out the bottom side mounts being bolted to any thing
