Any way to fix a dent in the side of a tank?
Any way to fix a dent in the side of a tank?
Last weekend I pancaked my 636 and it rolled up onto the tank/clip-on/upper... so I now have a pretty decent sized dent in the side of my tank, it actually looks like 3 dents all side by side. My question is: is there any way to repair them? I don't need it to be perfect, but I also don't want it to look like ****, and I need the tank to be stunt-dentable... as of right now the side dent would interfere with a stunt dent. So could I carry it to a bodyshop and get the dents pulled or should I just get a new tank all together?

it's kinda f'd up... the tank still has the correct overall shape, but it looks like somebody took one of those hulk-fists to the side. I saw a pretty nice stunt-tank for sale up for like $200 up here... I thought about just getting it b/c it's perfect for me, except my bike is red instead of orange.
