Question Steel or Aluminum Sprockets ? ?

Does it matter what kind of sprocket you use? Will the aluminum wear out faster than the steel?

I just got my rear Vortex and it's aluminum...

Thanks!

Most larger aftermarket sprockets are aluminum. They aren't as strong as steel, but you can get them with a harder coating on them. My Vortex doesnt have it, and so far its just fine!

Cool

I got the sprocket yesterday and the package it came in felt too light to be a sprocket, but it was of course. I'll just have to see how it holds up.

Thanks

The chain wears out first anyway, dont worry about it.
