If your asking when we are applying our brake, wouldn't you know from scrapin? I start out with mine pressed, even before I clutch it up to 12..
practice makes perfect.

me too. I keep getting in a brake throttle tug of war. I have a complete lack of feel for the brake unless I press it hard and hold it. It seems like it helps alot when I mash the brake kinda hard and just hold it and use the throttle to control height. That takes all the jerkiness out of the throttle but I am wondering if that is the wrong thing to do.. I dont know. I dont know. I dont know.. aaaah! It seems like I would ruin my rotor/pads real quick doing that.. Not that I really care anyways cause my bike is crap. My big problem is that my brain is trained to let off the damn gas when I get too far back so I end up gassing it back and getting on the brake and then letting off the gas while holding the brake and gassing it back again and blah blah. Habits die hard. Guess I just need to practice. :P

turn your idle up, and just use brake control. then, many things happen, no handers, or no throttle hand.

I will give that a go tomorrow. Hey Dan, what gears are you runnin man? Another problem that I am having (but making slow progress on) is getting used to how twitchy 1st gear is now. I have a gsxr 600 but put a 750 motor in it two weeks ago so I am having to learn my bike all over again. To complicate things further I wasnt able to change gearing from what I originally had on my 600 which was -1 in the front and +2 in the back which is -2 +5 with a 750 motor. Is -2+5 maybe too drastic for an 02 gsxr 750?
