is going one down in the front gear and two up in the rear, the same as going 3 down in the front or 3 up in the rear? When I went one down on the front of my katana it was hell getting all of it to go back together and I really would rather just add to the rear of my f4. if its not the same, how much bigger would I have to go on the rear to be the same as -1 +2?

its about the same as going +5 in the rear. if you wanna be technical its like +4.5.

 

-1 tooth up front is equal to around +2.5 in the rear. The above post is right on.
