Will any other rotors match 1000rr rotors.

Just got a F4i with a 1000rr front end. At least one of the rotors are warped. Having trouble finding 1000rr rotors. Are any other rotors the same size? Maybe 600rr or something?

Thanks

ok you have the same as mine,,,the rotors are 310,which i believe that 05 06 600rr rotors fit..ask kj hes know a bunch about the 1000rr front end..
i remember him telling me that 929 954 will fit but you need the caliper spacers from the 06^ 1000rr forks

The 05 06 600rr rotors and calipers will work. I used a set on mine.

Re: Will any other rotors match 1000rr rotors.

the 929/954 are too big... they're 330mm.

the 600rr will work though... calipers are exactly the same as well.

the 06-08 1000rr will work too but you'll need to get the caliper spacers for clearance.. they are 320mm.

You could probably get the 929/54 rotors to work if you get the correct size spacer... maybe even stack a couple spacers on top of each other?

If you try and stack them your gonna have to take an angle grinder and take off a bit of the metal to make them flat on the side where they will touch...... if you see them you'll know what I mean.

good luck.

i think so...i looked at my stock f4i,and took a wild guess on the swingarm being bent...and sure enough, the boomerang shaped parts that hold the shock on,there was a space of about 1/2 inch,on the right side, and on the stock everything was nice and snug, then i looked at the center of the tire in comparison to the center of the shock on the stock bike..and its center as hell and on mine that **** was crooked as ****,,,,soooooo i ibought a new swingarm, clamps, motor mount brakets...sooo hopefully thats it

haha, they were blown when I got the bike. I already replaced them both. I would have gone with a different front end but it's what was on it. I got a spare f4i front end in case of an emergency
