going to be putting a 954rr triple on my f4i and I believe it has the roller bearings pressed on the lower triple.

Do i need different bearing races that are in the frame, or are the races the same between the roller and the ball head bearings?

 

you need the frame race for it.. you should just replace them all ...

yep just like Havok said you need to use either the ball (f4i) or roller (954) bearings/ races...both will fit the triple and the frame...just dont try to mix them...that won't work

 

im just going to use the 600rr triple that came witht he forks since its also a ball bearings and grind the stops off and make new stops, cheaper that way, dealer wants 80 for bearings and ebay wants 30.

 

80 bucks are you serious,,**** i orderthem straight from allballsracing,and they were $30 bucks shipped,,witch includes top and bottom bearings,races and dust covers...
