I am having problems getting into first gear once in a while. This rarely happens but has happened a few times to me. Anyways I will downshift and click down to get into first but it gets stuck in neutral. The neutral light wont be on until I start to let out the clutch then the bike says it is in neutral and from there I can click it into first. Any ideas on why it is not going straight into first every time?

 

I did a little research and found that some bikes can not be shifted from 6th to first.. maybe that was the problem
