most of you know my bike has a nonrepairable title so it can never be insured/registered even tho it's still MINT (long story...)

now, say if someone were to buy another used frame with a CLEAN title/frame/vin...could that person swap over everything onto it and then have no problem registering it?

are there any issues to be concerned with?
(i don't want to get halfway done all this work and then still not be able to insure it!)

should be good, just make sure ur engine number comes up clean

 

all's they do here is look at the neck vins and match it with the title and wala!

The frame is what is written off dude so changing the frame would make you bike fresh but frame's ain't cheap for this reason i mean for a decent bike frame from a shop with logbook is like well over a grand in the uk or in the $ around the $2000 mark.

MC titles have both the frame # and engine # on them...They do that because of how easy it is to re-frame a stolen bike and make it legal again...Just make sure your engine is not stolen if you don't know where its been since day 1

Its ok to put your engine in the new frame dont worry to much about it....
