Have an 01 f41 that seems to be running pretty rich. U can smell the gas that its burning pretty bad. Just curious as to what u guys may think the problem is. I have heard it could be anything from a sensor to possibly just needs some FI ran through it....Any ideas?....--)

 

If you haven't already solved it, a shoddy fuel pressure regulator could be the cause.

 

yeah from what i know/heard this is most likely the prob....

 

plugs and/or air filter. bad fpr effects #2 cyl

 

yeah just run some FI through it, what ever the **** FI is.

Oh wait its Fuel injection. Your going to Run Some Fuel Injection through it or what.. that'll Fix your problem...

 

Its fixed!!!....Original problem was bad plugs and about 1gt too much oil...Buddy of mine changed the plugs and i changed the oil. Buddy forgot to screw #1 plug all the way in and also forgot to snap the coil pack all the way down, LMAO.......but i discovered it after "thinking" the plugs were fouled again......she runs like a dream and no smoke either....=-)
