600rr idle messed up

600rr idle messed up

i took the motor out to have it welded i put it back and now the bike idle at 6grand its a 03 any ideas i checked all the vacuum lines.

did you check the obvious stuff like cable routing and adjustment ?

Check that stuff first, and maybe the throttle body clamps aren't tight,or sealed.

true true ,that would cause a huge vaccum leak

no all that stuff is cool i checked everything is tight and i looked down the throttle bodies and their closed

so i took it all apart and you were right i did miss a plug it was the one for vacuum stuff on the valve cover but now it idles at 3 and blinks a code or the oil light blinks 8 times

ok i fixed the idle problem but its blinking the oil light 8 times and the fi light is on and low idle is rough but it revs smooth but after you rev it it dies
