wont stop ****** up!

i have an asv pro..moved it closer to the bar (2.5" maybe) and now i cant adjust the thing right..when i backed the adjuster out (showing more of the cable) it slipped like a bastard!..but when i adjust it back in (closer to the lever) it wont engage and i cant shift..what the hell do i do? bike is an 03 636

 

hmmm, dont know what to tell you except keep playing with it...

I run a similar clutch lever, moose i think... i always turn the adjuster on the perch all the way in and then adjust the slack out with the cable adjustment down by the case cover... try that maybe...
