F4i bypass question

when you take the airbox off, there is a little solenoid with a few thick hoses hooked up to it attached to the frame kinda by your upper tripple. It has one hose going to the airbox and 2 going to the valve cover. has anyone taken this off and eliminated it? I'm not even sure what it is exactly.

Yes...its the PAIR Mod or Kleen air Mod. I actually had my F4i appart yesterday to put a APE Manual Tensioner on and I have already took out the PAIR Valve. ( I would have taken some pics if I saw this post).

To do this Mod you need (3) 5/8" coolant bypass caps (Advance auto parts have them in stock) and a few zip ties or hose clamps. Remove the PAIR valve and disconnect the two hoses from the valve cover and remove the third hose from the air intake box that runs to the pair valve. There will be a additional hose that runs from the air box to the valve cover also, leave this one in place. Take the 3 bypass caps and place them over the two nipples on the valve cover and the one nipple on the air box (where you removed the three hoses from that connect to the PAIR valve). Clamp the bypass caps on, connect the one hose and put everything together.
