What is the trick to bypassing the Kawasaki 636 tip over censor?


Obviously filling up full of silicone did not work..

Any Suggestions?

 

how did it not work ?

if it's full of rtv silicone it cant move.........

did you use rtv silicone ,like a gasket sealer or just a silicone spray ?

 

take out the center of it.

 

the bike dies at 11:45 or when doing stoppies. Its a RTV silicone. Once I filled it up and plugged it back in, the bike would not start. Fuel pump turns on, bike turns over but wont start. If i take off the silicone censor and put on the regular one the bike will start right up.

 

You sure it doesnt need that magnet inside there to start up?

 

its a pendulum i believe. when it completes the contact(be on its side) it kills fuel. kawi tips are pretty much same as the gsxr ones... just tear out the internals on your spare one.

i think you siliconed it in the tipped position.......lol

 

So what your telling me is that my airbox is full of oil, no need to mess with tip over?

 

my tip over is still hooked up

 

Your answer on how to bypass the tip switch

 

if your sensor has 3 wires just connect the end wires that should do it

 

ive done nothing to my tip sensor and im fine... Joe vert rocked it too

 

yeah ,I havent touched my censor and it doesnt cut out past BP. maybe youre injectors are clogged
or too much oil ,in airbox , I havent read that thread on it ,but it seems after a while too much oil in there could cause stalls. Does it smoke alot?
