whats the deal .....ive never messed with it....does it need bypass?

 

I took mine apart, emptied out the guts put it back together and plugged it back in. Works great!

I left mine alone it never shuts off in 12's or on the bar, only when its laid on its side for a few seconds. When my cage sliders are on it doesnt even shut off laying on the cage.....but sometimes it helps because it kills the bike shortly after crashing so I dont have fun in a circle trying to kill the motor.....

 

my bike hasn't been wanting to start all the time....so i thought the tip sensor might be the problem.....can it get stuck

 

yeah we never mess with ours, but it is a possibility in you situation. Maybe try to find a different one to plug in to see if it fixes the problem... maybe its not sticking but the resistor in it is bad?!?!?!?!?

there are some other things that might make it hard to start as well...

 

fill me in .....this what happens.....ill ride the sh*t out of it all day then bang my boyfriend......stop and try to start it and it cranks and cranks but no start..... .....this problem has progressly got worse....i haven't messed with it but need to

 

Could be many things but one of the first Id check is the air box, if you dump alot of oil into it your plugs get fouled and its hard to start. Open the air box and if theres lots of oil clean it out, pull the plugs and either clean and dry them or replace them...

Have you done anything with the crankcase breather? does she blow smoke?

 

Almost forgot on the left side of the bike beside the stator cover theres a little clear plastic bottle hanging from a black hose. If that bottle is full of oil you know for sure your airbox is flooded with oil.....Look at that before you remove anything

 

Your Valves Could Be To Tight Also.

 

I havent had any problems with mine, wheres the sensor located at? I might just dump it out to do it.

....i've never touched mine either and it's been fine.

 

try to lay off banging your boyfriend as well..im sure that would help.
