02 f4i o2 sensor ?

i was taking my tire off to put a new one on and saw a sensor down by the exhaust ziptied next to it . its not in the pipe or anything . i cant find where it would go. any ideas? im sure it would help if this thing was in the exhaust

does it look like this?




i'm not sure what year the california models started using 02 sensors i thought 03 but i could be wrong

nahh dude, my 01s got one of those sensors.

it pretty much means, that the pipe that you have for ur bike isn't a california-model pipe.

i've never ran my bike without having that connected, but without it ur bike should supposedly run like ****!

how does ur bike run?

well i went from a 04 gsxr 6 to this it feels slugush even with a 60tooth rear

i'd get a cali pipe if i was you....they're like $50 bucks on ebay...and then spend another $50 to get it cut in half and welded. (shorty)

or i could drill a hole and weld up a o2 bung for this one since its already cut down and all i think that might be easier

ya do that, ive seen a few fools do that

my wires got loose and caught up and ripped out when i lost my exhaust beginnign of summer....


it ran a lil differnt but fukit, the bike always runs crappy neway....lol
