Replacing fork seals

Hey, i noticed oil pissing out of 1 of my forks the other day, i know this expected when learning wheelies so i want 2 change the 2 seals, im not 2 bad mechanicly servicing, changing pads, chain, sprockets etc. no prob but ive never seen forks took apart before, i want to try it myself... good idea or bad idea, i ride a cbr 600 f2... times is hard...

Not too hard at all, especially if you have a parts break-down/manual. I was a little intimidated, but once I got into it.........no problem. Good luck!

Im about to do mine, how important is the fork seal driver? I heard you could use a pvc pipe .

can use a pvc pipe or put old seal on top of new seal and tap on it i have done it both ways. hardest part for me is always getting that bottom allen head bolt out. be carefull not to strip or its a pain to get out

i've never used a fork seal driver, always made something work(make sure u protect your new seal. DONT F IT UP!!) just make sure u drive it evenly!
pvc pipe works
