f4i engine swap? siezed crank shaft?

bike decided to stop working last night and I think I might have to swap engines Anyone know roughly how long it takes to swap the engine over???

had had a mild / intermitant kind clicking/ clunking noise - sounded like something catching on the radiator fan like a hand ful over times over last 3/4 hours of riding... nothing else seemed wrong. then had that lil noise again, whilst I was on brake doing one of them no handed (both wheels down) circle things and it suddenly lost all power and stalled.

tried to start and just got a click near tail unit (solenoid / relay?) when I pushed the button and nothing at all then another click when I released button. Fuses all okay. battery should be fine, but about to check again.

any idea's? The shop said it sounds like a siezed crank shaft...

just tried turning it over / push start in 1st and 4th and it just locks up and skids.

also put it up on stand and tried pulling the wheel round whilst in 4th and there's a bit of play then CLANG, solidly won't go any further

Hi Nick, sorry to hear.. do you have the f4i manual? if not I can send you a copy. it has a full how to on engine removal and installation... I can transfer you the chapter, or I can snail-mail you the whole CD. Let me know if you needs it.
