I just recently trashed my R1. Since it'll cost too much to fix it like it was... and then just end up trashing it again... I figured I'd just turn it into a stunter, beat it up a little, and learn the slow parking lot stuff. Here is what it looks like now...





I'm planning on replacing the front brake resevoir as well as the case cover & gasket. I'm planning on buying the Acerbis Cyclops headlight, racing 905 cages and 12 bar, rear hand brake, and a more agressive drive kit (+ 12 to 14). My only concern is how do I clean up the sides of the bike? My upper fairing, fairing stay, and gauge cluster is gone. The left mid, left lower, and right lower are cracked and barely hanging on. So I wanted to pull the front plastics off. It just looks so god damn ugly with all of the hoses and wiring running all over the place. I know a stunt bike shouldn't look like a masterpiece, but how do I make it look some what presentable? Any info, help, or pictures will be greatly appreciated.

 

just leave the sides on and zip tie the **** out of them so they stay on and trim the fronts down so there not stickin way out

 

Good idea... it's not going to look pretty, but it will be presentable! Good looking out man!

 

ur prob better off fixing the bike and sellin it & buying urself a 636... alot easier to stunt than that bike

 

I was reading a thread about a "Kleen air mod" can someone break it down for me on what exactly this is? From the sound of it... by not doing it can have some serious consequences!

 

i had one its a big bike...but good for some tricks...just fix it and sell it you dont need much t fix it....
