I brought a full throttle inc third brake kit. i was told to buy a 06 gsxr front brake master cyclinder, so i did. i have a msr raptor clutch lever and stock clip ons. i can not get the levers to go on together properly any help would be appreciated

Sense this post has to do with full-throttle and no one answered my question there i'll ask here. When I ordered my kit from Bill I recieved the full kit not just the brake adapter and line but a hand brake as well does anyone know if this hand brake that came with this kit any good? Has any one used it and also does the regular front break need to be removed to fit vortex clip ons the bikes a f4i. Any information and help would be appreciated.

 

what do you mean remove front brakes?

 

No just a lot of people used radials on both hand and front brakes. My question is will my old style box brake for the front fit on the vortex clip ons and is the 14mm hand brake I got with the kit any good or should I switch that brake to my new front sense I believe its radial and get a 1000rr master instead.

Haha sorry about the shitty english just got back from a 10 mile run hard to think straight. Im just wondering if the master I got from bill which is basically a flipped front brake work for a front brake? Sense da links said my old box style brake wont fit on the votex i'm wondering if i can use Bills full throttle brake for my front brake and get a new master for a hand brake trying not the waste money or and sorry about the spelling errors .

 

I WOULDNT GRIND THE MASTER,JUST CUT 2 OF THE EARS OFF THE ADJUSTER ON THE CLUTCH...

Yes, the fullthottle master on the handlebars works great!! I have installed several and they are all 1 finger lockup!

 

Run the 14mm nissan master that comes in the kit. A 1000rr master is designed to push fluid to 4 pistons wich makes it real hard to pull when you are only moving 1 piston, just hook it up and see, 1 finger action all day long with the full throttle setup! I have a 1000rr master sittin on my shelf collecting dust right now, cuz I was told it would work great and it actually sucks, so I did the math and studied some hydrualics and worked with Bill at Fullthrottle and hooked up a 1/2" Nissan on my bike, I went from 4 finger , no lock, to 1 finger lock by steppin to a smaller diameter master on the bars on my crf450.

 

suzuki Radials have a huge cast block right there for the brake switch mount... so the ajuster even with out ears wont clear.

As far as the regular front brake being used again because of the votex clip ons I just bought what should I look into something used on ebay in a radial type which brand and bikes should I look for thanks again for the help you guys are getting me on the right track and an thank you!
