F4i fork Mod part upgrade...cheap
F4i fork Mod part upgrade...cheap
hey guys... I just wanted to offer up front fork spacers for a stock f4i fork setup... I just recently did all 3 of my f4i's I'm a heavier guy and was feeling bottoming out occasionally on all 3 bikes ( each in different levels of disrepair ) Now they are all awesome (for stock forks) I used 20 weight oil and put the stock amount in...but the Spacer that was 4 inches stock....I replaced it with 4-1/2 inch spacer on one bike.... then 4-3/4 on the 2 other bikes ....they all feel so much better....well...I have a shitload of the steel tubing left (it's the same stuff we use on our stockcars for certain applications) and for cheap ...$15 ( that's 10 for my time and materials ...and 5 to ship inside the US ) it's not to make money ...just to help out a few guys on stock forks like myself....
If you're interested let me know what length you want them...PM me...
and I'll hook you up extreme_acres@msn.com or email me ...i check it more often than SL

Re: F4i fork Mod part upgrade...cheap
f4i forks are real easy....everyone should learn how to do them....Changing the fork oil and the spacers is seriously pretty easy....
Fork seals is quite a bit harder and I wouldn't reccomend those ...you almost have to be taught that by someone who has learned how to do them (you can **** **** up)
not only havent i bottomed out yet ...but they still have sag and work nicely on the street still too. (it hasn't made them too stiff)
