Okay so im ordering one for my 01 F4i. When Im chekcing it out on this site its asking me if i want these gaskets... the link is below. Im just wondering when I change this out, is there gaskets i need to replace? or do I just unbolt the old hydraulic one and bolt this bad baby in?

I didn't order the gaskets. I just used some gasket maker from the auto parts store that I already had.

To answer your ?, you do need to use some kind of gasket.

 

they guy doesn't know why you need a gasket, muchless for him to use RTV... he just needs to buy the gasket.

 

Alright cool that site wants 25 dollars for shipping though! i just seen that. Fk that. Ill find it on ebay or something.

 

ebay is alot cheaper.

Ha even better.. i JUST got back to work (30 mins late from lunch) I went to a local bike shop here in Jacksonville and they had one in stock for 59.99 So i got it right here. comes w/ gasket and "instructions" but the instructions on the box compared to the thread on here.. LoL.. lets just say ill use the one on SL
