i hvae a 2000 CBR 929RR and for the longest time the red light and the FI light have been coming on. i went to check the owners manual to see wat the light meant but the pages are missin. also when i turn the key, but before i start the bike, it sounds like the fuel pump is a **** ton louder than it used to be. i juts changed the oil and the oil filter so i dont know wat the red light is. maybe a sensor? any help would be super cool

 

mine does the same im thinking is something with the fuel pump or fuel filter not so sure yet mine actually start doing it after i got some water in the tank . i'll let you know what was the problem when i work on it

 

cool man thanks. i talked to a buddy and he said it may be the fuel pump relay. ill let you know if i hear anythign too

 

hmm 929's are known for many dif problems.. if the relay was toast i doubt the bike would run, most the time relays fail... they FAIL
