Re: r6 wont start?

How can you tell if the plugs are still good? Could it possibly be the kickstand sensor?

If the kickstand sensor is bad it would not allow the bike to turn over at all. Your just not getting fuel or fire that is what you have to look at. You say you can hear the fuel pump run then it must be fire. (spark plugs)

Re: r6 wont start?

I'd push start it and pin the revs
maybe its just "cold natured"
On winter days my 04 R6 would have a little trouble starting since it sat outside all night

fawk im having the same problem with my 05 r6....i replaced the stator cap and it ran fine for 30 min. came back home and put some more oil in....tried to start the bike...she cranks but doesn't turn...drained some oil...same thing. changed the plugs (coils are still good)....now it soundes like its chuggin then it dies. checked all four header pipes they all are warm. batteries fine had it fully charged. that chuggin noise though...what do you guys know or think???
