Wheelie again

Well I tried the bounce method all day today and I guess I am making progress, my tire started to come up about 2 inches. I am doing this at 6,7 or 8 grand. I am not for sure but somewhere around there. Do I need to be doing it at a higher RPM. I get to around 6 or 7 roll on a little more, bounce and the same time let off the gas, hit the gas .002 seconds later, while trying to pull on the clip-ons (Too much **** to remember and try all at the same time). I have a 02 f4i. Stock sprockets. Can anyone help me.

I don't think you're supposed to do that....

I can't be much help b/c I've only gotten it up about a foot or so bouncing in 2nd. From what I've read it's all about the timing and it takes lots and lots of practice. Hopefully someone has some good advice for ya.

I am no expert by any means. I'm a FNG but this is what I do.

Get going about 50 to 55 mph, role on the throttle to about 60 to 65 mph, close the throttle while at the same time bouncing on the pegs (not the bars). As you feel the front end start to unload, wack the throttle about 3/4 of the way open. It will come up. Do NOT pull on the clips on. Your asking for big trouble.

This gets me up about 2-2 1/2 feet in the air most of the time.

The stock F4i has plenty to get it up.

My gearing is stock but I added exhaust, air filter and power commander. You may have to bring the speed up 5 to 10 mph. I didn't try them much when I was totally stock.

Again, I am far from an expert but this is just my

Good luck.

I wheelied a buddies 01 F4i. I Cant tell u exact rpm's..I kinda just wing it but I'm guessing 6 or 7k in 2nd pull in clutch (more like slipping) and release around 11 give or take. Just practice releasing the clutch at higher and higher rpm's till it comes up.

I just started clutching in 2nd. Much more stable. I am still trying to get it down but what JackassRR said is pretty close to what I am doing.

And what do you know, I got my advice from Stuntlife.com forums.

Thank God for this website. You all rock. :YEAH
