Hey guys,

I was looking at these LSL kits and was wondering how those would mount on the bike especially the AS type. I don't understand how that can replace the triple tree with 2 holes. Is there a part that I don't see or am I just stupid?

Yeah I seen those but the bars would be too high. I want something for the bars to be lower. The first pic is what I'm trying to figure out.

 

ya i know, i was just thinking out loud but i already have the gpr so i might as well use it thats why i have to get high ones. but pm bill he can answer your question

 

Yeah talking to Bill was the way to go.. He said it's something you put on top of your stock triple tree.

I broke my triple tree so I wanted a better one. I would've taken it if I didn't have to buy my stock one back but if I have to buy another stock one that will do for now. I did find a way to mount a stock gixxer damper to my F4i with a bracket so that's gonna work cheap for me.

It's type AS clamp the pic is on the first post of this thread. Take a look and see if it's the same and how much you want for it? I didn't want to pay 350$ for it but never know maybe cheaper I'll take it.

 

i don't think its the same for f4i and 6RR

 

 

The LSL kit bolts on in place of the clip ons, so the forks do not need to be pushed through the triples for bars to fit. once each side is bolted on the bars will hold them straight etc. Should be pretty good set up, but you need to keep the stock triple as these just fit on top (as far as I'm aware) looking to get some for my f4i as well as my bars are loose and keep coming loose/moving on me.

 

yeah I tried to get the billet one that Bill makes but he said that he doesnt make them for the f4i(stock front end). Didnt really like the LSL kits, doesnt look as good(dont know why)....
