Alright so heres my problem. Over the winter I bought a new motor for my 900. The original motor was a 93 and the new motor came out of a 99. When im riding the bike it runs great all the way to redline. But when I get onto the highway and run it at a consistent speed rpms around 5500 I start to cut out. My question is do the fuel pumps for the 99 motors pump more fuel to the carbs then the older models and Im running out of fuel? Or do I have jetting issues? The motor was from fl. and I live in so.
