Endo's are killing my lower back
Endo's are killing my lower back
Ok I have been practicing my endo's lately but I have a problem. Everytime I do an endo and come back down, I tend to fall to the right and holding the bike from hitting the ground has been taking a toll on my lower back. Any suggestions aside from the usual "lean to the left you idiot" response?
do you have pics of you doing them?
i could probably tell you right now you probably have your arms bent instead of locked and you need to get your butt out of hte seat a little to help hold it.
also, what does the road look like you do them on? if it has a crown (bubbles up in the middle) that will throw you off and cause it to want to steer.
scott's steering damper helps hold it in a strait line really well on those nasty road surfaces also. takes some of the stress off of holding the whole bike.

How fast are you going when you lift?....are you bringing them to a dead stop?(probably).....is the bike kicking out one way or the other and is this causing your instability?...can you tell when you are coming down that it is probably going to go one way and if so can you put your feet down earlier??.....I'm not saying I have the answer, I am just curious as to what your doing so that I can learn also.
Yes I am stopping. I havent done any rolling endo's. just basically a stoppie. When I come down i do go to the right always since that is the foot i put down but sometimes i can Barely hold the bike up. i havent dropped it yet but i dont want to either...
try doing rolling ones...i find coming to a complete stop is kinda hard for me but i can roll. i'd say about 40mph bring it up and put it down before you are stopped...keep doing that and getting used to that. I can stop almost and then balance and let the clutch out and keep going and that's fine, but if i just roll slow and do a stoppie it wants to fall over also.
the faster they are the easier to keep in a strait line it will be because there is centrifugal force on taht front tire.

Binder knows his Sh**. Do what he says, but also.....if you still want to come to a complete stop dont let the bike reach its peak and then start coming back on you. let go of the brake so that the bike lands before it starts to get some momentum backwards.
I used to lock the front wheel sometimes but never came down to one side. I always look as far down the road as possible with my head up . This keeps the bike and your body perfectly strait. You should be able to keep both feet on the pegs after landing for a split second.
oh we have our places
most of them are hidden but some of the main ones if you want to do them in town are ohio blvd (ohio street that turns into a blvd) and frutridge north...that oneis bad ***, it's 5 lands by industrial parks. From frutridge we go behind the industrial buildings on their private drives and do stuff there too.
