why does my water pump keep going bad?

02 crf450r...setup for dirt but making the conversion to supermoto if my bike doesn't blow up on me first. so i replaced the seals, water pump impeller, coolant, etc. no leaks in rad., lines are good but i fix it and then a couple hours later coolant is coming out the weep hole and i need a new setup. what the hell is going on and how do i fix it? any help is appreciated because i'd like to get this thing rolling asphalt for summer.
thanks

don't have the cash to buy a new one, i might sell though
i was looking at the water pump mod from honda with the hole in the impeller to equalize pressure...what is the risk that this will throw things out of balance and mess up my engine?

Re: why does my water pump keep going bad?

If you replaced the seal correctly and its still acting up you have the following 1 or 2 problems. Your pump shaft bearings are going bad and letting the shaft wobble or your shaft may have a groove from where the existing seals were contacting it..........

u have to replace the counterbalancer and bearings too. also, honda put the oil check hole in the wrong place on those so u have to add more oil.
