Powder coating some parts
Powder coating some parts
I searched but didnt really find what I was looking for.
first off, I am going to powder coat my gas cap, now i know that normally you would want everything taken apart fully but I kinda dont want to mess with the complex parts in the gas cap (like the lockset). Do you guys know of a place that i could have my parts powdercoated that would take it apart for me and put it back together? (maybe for extra charge)
next is removing the rubber off some of the stock parts, like the foot pegs. i want to keep the stock pegs (cause i think they look better) but i cant give them parts to powder with rubber still on it. basically i want to reuse the piece after the metal is coated so how do i get it off without ruining it?. the other piece is the shift lever (ya know how its got that rubber thing on the end). turns out thats a total b itch to get off. any recomendations?
Last thing is if you have any companies that i should deal with that would be awesome. i was thinking trg because they seem to specialize in motorsports and whatnot.
thanks for the help guys.
