03 gsxr6 motor in an 01 frame

Does anyone happen to know if an 03 gsxr600 motor will fit in an 01 gsxr600 frame. The frames look the same but I've had some people tell me that it won't fit. Anyone know anything???

01-03 gsxr 600's are exactally the same.the 750 motor will work but the top mounts are off by 1/2 an inch.so yes the motor will go right in,you dont have to change nothing
