Bondo Prep????

im about to re-do the stunt tank on the gsxr and was wondering if anyone had some advice. stuff thats not i the label that i should know that would make it last longer or to keep it from cracking or flaking

the label pretty much says it all....acouple thin coats is better then one thick one,and you can save your self alot of sandin if you shape it before it dries completely

use some sand paper on the tank and get the clear coat off or the bondo won't adhere. and a tackt cloth to get off all the dust before applying it

its pretty much stripped down to the metal. but i used aircraft paint remover. hopefully it wont leave a residue

use break cleaner to make sure theres nothing left on the tank

apply to a area sanded with 220grit and smear it hard onto the surface.
