How to put LED-s for oil and gas...
Re: How to put LED-s for oil and gas...
Man everything works fine, just want turn off LED when the bike if turned off
Re: How to put LED-s for oil and gas...
if you don't have a tailight or don't care bout it........the hot wire running to your taillight switch is a switched source...and theres tons of other switched sources on that bike you could use as well.
I would splice into that wire (or another switched power source) and run it as your positive source.
Thats assuming that the LED in the gauges functions by connecting and disconnecting the grounded wire.
oil shows a (-) symbol........I would go to something else for the positive that you know is switched....like the low beam headlight or the Br/Wh wires marked Illum.

i explained this 5 post's ago, insted of splicing ign, splice illum, its above the its at the top in the picture u made, ur gauges only light up when u turn the bike on, so it will only run power when u tur nthe bike on

yep, take the (+) side from the front light wire or some wire that has power only when the bike has ignition switched on.
when you turn the power on, you want the light to light up. but when you start it up, of course it has to shut down, when you get oil pressure.
