frame slider bolt
frame slider bolt
i cant seem to get my frame slider bolt out of my bike. it took a roll and broke of the plastic slider and bent the bolt back. was going to weld another bolt to the bent bolt that is stuck in to get it out. any other ideas?
Re: frame slider bolt
it happened to me twice, i cut the slider off with a grinder then the top of the bolt cause there was no way to bend it back then used vice grips to keep turning the bolt out. in the end i fucked up the threads on the engine and had to use a helicoil kit to rethread it good luck hope this helps

Re: frame slider bolt
? really don't know to much bout it. it was a plastic frame slider. slider broke off and bent and ground down the head of the bolt. could i use a cutter socket to get it off?
Re: frame slider bolt
It is directly benieth that frame slider bolt ( engine mount ) Facing downwards.Get down on your knees and tilt your head side ways
I'll take a pic tomorow. Take ur faring off and look. If it's your gixxer that your talking about and you don't know what the pinch bolts are then you deff. didn't loosen them first and it aint coming out. And you didn't put them on either
