ok so I get up this morning get ready for work go out hop on my bike and the ****er wont start but smells like gas out the wazoo. So im chokin it, turn the gas off try everything, so I let it sit, try again and it trys to start. So finally I get it started but it will barley stay running full throttle but it I back off of it slowley it revs up. It finally gets to running like it should.. So I was thinking ok it had to be flooded. Anyways I get to work turn my pet**** off. Get out of work turn it on and the SAME ****ING THING HAPPENS! Whats going on.....BTW ive had the valves adjusted seated, carbs rebuilt and a new fuel filter can someone please help me?!?!?!?! It just started doing this outta the blue.....

 

could this be because I havent ran the proper air filters in it the past few days?

use choke 100% and turn it over then give it a light blip on the throttle then it should start. replacing plugs is a good idea to cause u didn't mention that.

 

They replaced the plugs when the valves were adjusted, I think it may have lost compression again. I talked to the shop who done the valves and he said sometimes they have to adjust them a few times cause the tighten up or some bullshit, ima put in fresh gas, check plugs, and crap anyone have any suggestions?

 

put that fresh gas on top of it, then flick matchs at it

 

if your gas tank isnt venting properly it will flood ....does your gas cap make a wooshing sound when you open it after riding? if so thats your problem

 

ive noticed for some reason even if its just been sitting a while it always smells like gas.....and its not leaking gas anywhere

 

skake the bike then open the gas cap and see if it is holding pressure or if its venting properly

 

so its not supposed to hold pressure and if I do this and it holds pressure whats wrong? Some one was telling me it might be the valves gumming up in cold weather...but I just had them adjusted
