looking for someone with a F.I. bar on a 04-05 gsxr 6or 7
going to build my own was hoping someone could check there bike and tell me how far the bar is off the tip of the tail
or what would be a good starting point

all depends on how you mount it.
just back the bike to a wall and once its flush with thee tire measure the distance from the tail to the wall. thats obviously the distance needed to make the bike level. stick with that measurement or less.

def less you want to have weight on the bar when its on the ground......at least 2 inches from the wall

hummmmmmmmmmm its a all around easy task just tackle it and use a solid round stock for the bar(then it dont matter the angle),flat stock for side and dont forget to make subframe supports or your fukkked....... and make it flush with the tip of tail...... and make a 76'cent oil pick up and silicone the tip over switch and go wreck your bike.......
