Re: My CBR F4i dual caliper, rear handbrake set up

Here's my setup. Bought the extra F4i caliper and bracket for $25, the handbrake (ZX9 clutch) for $30, both from eBay. Built the jig myself and welded them together and used some scrap aluminum from work to brace it so it's solid. Works perfect.

eh......its all what you like man.....I like the idea of being able to use both if I wanted to......but I don't like the tendency of the welded brackets warping after awhile. Plus when Bill's new design come out you'll see what he's been working on and why.......I just hope it works out the way he's intending and functions correctly.......I'm not sure if he wants it out there so I'll let him tell people whats new bout it if he wants.

Actually yeah, I did just build it. I haven't even got to ride it yet. Almost the whole bike is new. The engine only has 100 miles on it. It's in the classified area for sale or trade for a 600RR. There's a lot more pictures of it there.

ouch $4500 is a lotta dough. you could get a clean stock F4i for that.

why haven't you ridden it?

True but it has over $1600 in aftermarket stunt parts. Take all that off of it, can you get a clean stock F4i with 100 miles on it for $3000? Besides, I'm more than likely not going to sell it, I'm going to trade it for a 600RR.

Haven't ridden cause I haven't got the plates for it yet and don't have a truck to get it to a lot. Plus it'd be harder to sell if I took it out and started beating the crap out of it.

Re: My CBR F4i dual caliper, rear handbrake set up

Initial impression of Ho Hey's bracket... It's unbelievable. All and more than what I thought it would be.

Not gonna say too much more here... but I'm gonna start a new thread in a few minutes where all other lucky bracket users can post their feedback as well.

Ho Hey u da man buddy! :YEAH
