929 wheelies

01 929 ,slipon, 15t sprocket.....................1st gear wheelies ,no prob.....2nd gear clutchin, comes up a little or for just like 50 feet. The sprocket threw my speedo off, might be changing back to stock 16t.

more throttle.

it's all about *****. I could clutch mine up in 3rd with stock gearing. now i'm 1 down front 2 up rear and it works great.

Make sure you aren't leaning forward when it starts to come up, i've noticed on my 929 the balance point is way the **** up there so it seems scary but once you get it, it's easy. You should be high enough (sitting down) that you can't see anything in front of you but the tank, and that's hte balance point. I can just barely see over the front of hte bike standing up when i want to do a constant speed wheelie.

Here's the best way to do it, clutch it up in second, and just shift after that. I'll tell you right now it's 10 times easier to balance standing up. I have a hard time sitting down now that i got my standups good. Standing up makes the balance point not so high (or at least i don't think it is)

my avatar over there is just barely at balance point, and when your'e on it, that SOB feels like it's WAY up there. Hit me up with an e-mail and we'll talk.
oh ya, check out our video and website:

You shouldn't have to clutch it in 2nd. I punched it at 60mph and it came up fine. Just like binder929rr said. You have use your ***** and don't be afraid. I'm running 3up in the rear and stock in the front.

I'm running stock gearing and I was bouncing it up in 3rd last night without a problem. Take your dick outta the gas tank and stick your *** out, give it a bounce and a handfull of throttle.

thanks for the compliments. I'm getting better day by day. when i get my stunt bike up and running i'll be fearless...but for now my show bike scares me cause i do'nt want to down it.

i've had some high *** wheelies where i could barely see over it standing up (i'm not very tall).

you just need to get it up higher. If you are sitting down, the balance point isn't until you can't see anything but the tank in front of you, that's the height of the balance point, it feels REALLY high but it's not when you look at side pictures of you.

get ahold of me on instnat messenger and maybe we'll meet up and ride together.

Do you have a power commander with that slipon?....my buddy has a pipe no power commander and the thing does not wheelie very easily in second compared to mine with a power commander. Just makes things alot smoother, try putting the stock pipe back on and i bet you its a lot snapier
