Im tryin to put lights on the fiddy, last thing i need to make it street legal i have been messing with it for a week now and still nothing, what kinda of voltage regulatro are you guys using? i have a knock off so it already has the 12v coming out of the engine only problem is when you rev it or full throttle it puts out 14 volts and burns out lights like nothin.....i have a volt reg off a R6 will that work?

I have no regulator on mine, and it works fine. The light just gets much brigher when ya rev it up.

BTW, i wound the stator myself too..

well when you just connect the 2 wires off the engine straight to the light thats what mine does too buy i wired mine in a circuit so it would always be bright and thats what burnt it out and i need it bright all the time so it dosent like go out at stop lights and ****

idk, mine is ok. I am runnin one car fog light, and it hasn't blown out. At idle, the light is weak but it is still on, and at full rev it is just real bright.
