Back Brake probs

I recently put all new caliper pads etc... cuz my back brake sucked. Now its pretty solid but if i'm out ridin for a while after about 45 mins its starts gettin soft and spongy. I bled it and got new seals for my master cylinder so i dunno. I don't use it much at all cuz I'm doing highway **** at like 70...I just have to tap it every now and than. any suggestions on what to try? Can brake lets get spongy when they get hot or something?

Re: Back Brake probs

pad clearance probs maybe?even little friction will heat up brake fluid and cause spongyness.

Re: Back Brake probs

brakes get real hot at 70 even if your barely resting your foot on it you can boil your fluid and once boiled the easy it boils the next time so change the fluid and keep your foot off the brake except when you need it ps motul is the best fluid fo sho
