Another handbrake thread, sorry.
Re: Another handbrake thread, sorry.
ok I got a HB question and not to open a new 1001th HB thread...can I just connect line from HB to rear master on top of another line with longer bolt/screw? so basically it would be 2 lines on one bolt which is twice longer...I suspect when footbrake is pressed it might push the oil into the HB line? but what if the HB reservoir is full? would this work?
Re: Another handbrake thread, sorry.
your an idiot, brake systems run up to 1,800psi... if it was that simple don't you think the fitting would be worthless... and everyone would run double hole banjo bolts.
Re: Another handbrake thread, sorry.
sorry if I offended you with my lack of knowledge...I **** at this so I ask, and when I read all the HB threads I can't understand half of those terms...I thought of the fact that everyone would do this if it was that simple but it doesn't cost to ask...
and what is fitting? I got a clue cuz of the word itself, but not shure...

easy...DOWN WHEELIEST DOWN!...hes got legit reason... his engrish isnt so well
the fitting is the little thing that screwed or welded into the REAR MASTER CYLINDER (MC) in which the line from the HB MC is threaded into.
voila.

Re: Another handbrake thread, sorry.
ah crap. put ur bike in gear, take out the cam chain tensioner and push your bike forward while in gear then re-install cam chain tensioner. start the bike up while holding your throttle wide open.

Re: Another handbrake thread, sorry.
Same dillema here. Working on a rear handbrake. Just got through welding up my rear bracket and installing another caliper. Everybody said that was the best setup, so I did it. How's an 05 GSXR 1000 front master for the HB? What line do you use to go all the way to the rear caliper?
Re: Another handbrake thread, sorry.
