Question LONG AND HEAVY... What do i do?

Well youd think that a 1000 would be able to power up but apparnetly not an 88 fzr. I know that its heavy but still.
Is there any hope or has my baby passed her prime.
I cant seem to get the hole clutching it thing down.

im thinkin about goin 1 down in the front. might that help at all.
Or must i just keep 2 wheels down at all times..
thanks for any help..

Clutch it. Its the only way to go. I have the same problem with my katana.

I haven´t tried the 88-version, but I ride a -91 myself.
And it´ll wheelie of the throttle in first no problemo.
I mean, it´ll jump up on the rear-wheel if you get the tires nice and warm. But in second I prefer to clutch.
I´m not very good at clutching it up yet, but it can be done on fzr 1000.

ok i had an 88 honda hurricane 1000. what i had to do was get it to abot 8k rpms stand up and chop the throttle. somtimes i had to pull on the clip ons a little but it got up there. i think standing up helped the weight shift or something but this bike was beat and it still got up there, so give it a shot. later......

how about a 94 zx7r, i can't seem to get the front end up. I seem to have to clutch it up with a bunch of RPM's. Anyone got any input let me know. I think it is too heavy to stunt like i want to. Maybe change the front sprocket and jet the bike? PLEASE LET ME KNOW SUMTHING!!!!!!

Yea i have a 94 katana 600 and it will come up without clutch, just use high revs and forks to help out and it should come up. But the way i prefer to get the front wheel up (high and quick) is with clutch. By the time you get the wheel up with a power wheelie your out of revs and 20 over the speed limit
