cbr is skipping

97CBR600 F3 is an unknown quantity at this point
cbr is skipping
hey guys i got a 97 cbr 600 and its got about 28000 miles on it. its now beginning to make a noise like it is skipping teeth on the chain or something like that. is it possible that i have rounded a sprocket point or might i need a new chain? the thing is that it only does it under fast acceleration and when i get on the throttle hard, or up around 115 mph. what could it be?

put it on a dyno and find out
