i am a locksmith and usualy we can make a key from the gas tank, but it only works the ignition half the time because somtimes the tank will work off like 6 of the 8 cuts. it is different on all bikes, but i would try the dealer first and if they can not get you a code take the tank off and brink it to a locksmith so they dont charge you a service call. i dont know what locksmiths the other guys have been talking to but my service call is 55 plus the charge to make the key. but hot wiring it will not put gas in your tank.

 

i was unable to find the white dial under the circuit plate as well i am unble to get the tools i need as i am not home at the moment.

 

take the ignition off and take it to a locksmith shop... or have it impressioned

he said he had the key but cant find it, but he's been looking for a week know so im taking things into my own hands. Lock smith is on the way said its about $100 for everything but has to get a key blank from the Kawy dealer. ill up date soon he'll be here while in the next hour.

 

would it be better to get see if its stole and where do i do this?

jesus ****in christ its not hard at all if you knoiw how to cut wires and splice new ones you'll be fine we did this to my friends 93 canoftuna and put a toggle switch on it. took 15mins tops why dont you take everyones advice try it?

o yea we could only ride the canoftuna for a day cause no gas

 

ive tryed every thing but apparently theres a resistor in there preventing theift's on this bike i tryed everything but just ****ed up the iginition. the lock smith took the gas cap to get a key blank and make a new one.

 

 

since u tride hot wireing it you 99% chance fried 12volt regulator/rectifier and the gas cap is 6 cut key ignition is 8 cut so ur f-d still

 

8-1 he blew a fuse. i blew 4 before i found the right one.

^^ u need to shush, new fuel injected bikes have a resistor in the IGNITION which means u fry your 12 volt regulator when the right resistance is not put to it, no anti theft resistor fuse.

 

ive used my multimeter on it and it still shows up for voltage going to the red wire and the blue wire. thats the only 2 i cut and tryed wiring together.

 

i got my self a key for the gas tank and everything sorted out got the bike to the kawy dealer they fixed up my problem abit of money was spent for new ignition and then i went to to the MTO they sorted out me and it wasnt stolen and sent me on my mary way ill jut be getting some insurance and plates soon. Thx for everyones help.

Find A Lock Smith Give Him The Ignition They Can Make A Key For 30 Or 40 Bucks Thats What Im Doing Right Now With My F4 Izzle.

 

the guy who stole my bike endes up getting caught while trying to run from the popo. so dont ride stolen bikes unless you wanna get caught.
