Hey guys i just got mx bars for my gsxr750, now i know im going to need to extend the cables, but which do i get? I heard something about using gsxr1000 cables but not sure if its true? Any help would be awsome:YEAH

 

you dont need new cables, just reroute them, i have an 00 750 and they are plenty long enough with cr mid pro tapers

its a blue gsxr750 its actually a 98. Its got the powers cage, 12 bar, vortex sprockets -1+9, now pro taper bars, and my handbrake will be comnig in this week.

 

nice, are the carbs giving you any problems? do you have your pro tapers on yet? how are you skill wise, can you ride idle wheelies?

 

that carbs really havent given me aproblem at all sofar. Im gonna try to get the pro tapers done today, and no im not doing idle wheelies yet.

 

well if you need a hand let me know, how are you mounting those bars, just drilling and bolting on the risers? you need the high ones from tag, the regular ones from renthal and pro tapers are not high engout to clear the fork adjusters, i had my tag risers welded and bolted on so they are superstrong, if you dont weld them, eventually the triple will crack around the bolts. if it dont rain tonight i will be riding so either way give me a call 732-841-5697 kevin
