Well I put in the F4i motor I bought from f4istunna...went in good, checked the top end and it was CLEAN, I mean, the timing chain and all of that was clean. Anyways, me and my mechanic buddy put it in, fired up good. Ran good, rode it down the road and it ran good. I've kept turning it over all day to make sure nothing is wrong. I installed and adjusted the cct and the so it makes no noises. Well I was unloading it from my truck to store it, and I accidentally dropped it. It has no cage but it was a light drop, except the tank wasnt bolted on. It kind of rolled off the frame but didnt unplug anything. Well I picked it up, made sure the frame didnt get scratched, and other little things. It looked fine. I started it up to drive it into the storage, but it sounded rough. I turned it off, and just rolled it, figured it had some trash in the tank or something. I tried to start it again and it wouldnt start at all, kept trying to turn it on for about 5 minutes. Then I just quit and pushed it into the storage. I tried to start it one last time, and it still sounded rough, but then the motor just started revving loud. I turned it off and turned it on again, and it kept revving up hard, like I was pinning the throttle down or something.

I have a feeling that a line must have been unplugged, or something in the throttle cable got jammed. Somebody help me, I dont know what to check, I'm pissed off...This is almost the last straw, if I cant get this to run good then I'm just going to put up this clean title f4i for sale w/the extra blown motor for $2500...thats right, I'm about to quit if I cant fix this bike...forget stunting, too much money and I cant eveeer ride...

just simply lift up your tank, check the butterflys on your throttle bodies.. i'm sure something there just got moved around, maybe if u calmed down **** would work!

 

your right, but I mean, this bike has been nothing but problems since I bought it

but now that I think about it, I did do the idle mod on the throttle bodies...maybe it bumped something down there...I'll check it tommorow when I'm not tired....

 

airbox prolly came unseated

just went out to check that, and the airbox and throttle body spacers(or whatever you call those) came completely off of the throttle bodies...I guess this must be the problem huh, I'm going to take off the airbox and snap those things on the throttle boddies tommorow morning...thanks!

 

way to go beto.. haven't even ridden it and u already broke it.. there are little hose clamps on there.. loosen those, push it back on tight

yup, the throttle boddies came off the cylinder head, clamped them back onto the head and now it runs great! Thanks guys...
