929 clutch slipping or transmission trouble

929 clutch slipping or transmission trouble

i have a 01 929 and the other day i was riding and i was in 6th and i was on the throttle and i had it mid throttle and the rpm started rising but the bike wasn't going faster and the nexted day it did it again but this time in third so i was wondering if anybody here can tell wtf is going on with this thing

You nailed it, your clutch is slipping.

You make sure the clutch is adjusted right?? I had that problem. The clutch was adjusted to tight and is wasn't letting the clutch all the way out.

Get some new friction plates and springs on ebay... they are WAY cheaper than a dealer. Its an easy job to do on your own.

dont need springs, just friction plates, and scuff up the steals.
