Wiring a fan switch for F4i

I tried to wire a switch up for the fan today but electrical just isnt something i ever get right. I hooked one wire to the ground on the fan and the other to the sensor mounted in/on the radiator. Did i connect it to the wrong wire or what? Fuse keeps poppin

take the singal that is to the left of the fan and just ground it then your fan will be on when your key is on

I figured instead of the constint ground i could have this cool lil switch and save some stress on the stator, but **** no always has to go wrong. Am i not on the signal wire or what? It was blue and plugged into a sensor mounted on the radiator right above the lower radiator pipe.

+1 its pretty easy actaully...Are you sure you hooked up your switch right, thats what I did the first time, and I just swapped the connections on the switch and it worked perfect....

I swapped the wires on the switch and it just blew the fuse again. This is the way i have it wired right now. 1 wire from to switch being taped off the ground wire thats bolted to the radiator. Then the 2nd wire being tapped off that sensor thats right above the lower radiator hose. Maybe there isnt a good enough ground connection im going to try switching that out to another bolt

just drew this one on MS Paint. I hope this helps you out some man. Basically just splice the line that goes from your fan to that little plug on the radiator, and run a line from a switch onto it. If this doesnt work, just take your bike to someone you know that is good with electrical work and tell them to hook it up. OH yeah you shouldnt need a fuse this way. Mines hooked up so when the switch is on the fan stays on constantly, when the switch is off the fan works like it would stock. Good luck man...
