f4i gauge question

when you turn the key to the on position does the gas light stay on until you start the bike?

I had an F4i a while back, and if I remember correctly the oil pressure light stays on, but the gas light should not until you start it, but if the gas is low I think when you turn the key on it will be lit up.

only a red light by neutral and my oil light blinks on my screen. The fi light goes off after the pump primes. No other lights are on unless im low on gas of course
